Come join us on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 3 PM for an event not to be missed! Polish Soprano Dominika Zamara will be accompanied by pianist Juan Pablo Horcasitas. Dominika Zamara (soprano) was born in Wrocław, Poland, and finished her Master's degree in Opera from the University of Music in Wrocław, Poland, with further studies at the Italian Musical Conservatory in Verona, Italy. Her career has taken her around the world - from China to Mexico to England! In addition to a broad repertoire, ranging from Baroque to Contemporary (with a propensity for the Mozartian, bel canto and contemporary repertoire), and singing in numerous languages, Zamara has been carrying out a special project: concerts presenting the arias of Vincenzo Bellini and the songs of Fryderyk Chopin, two composers united by a deep friendship and unique collaboration. Mexican pianist Juan Pablo Horcasitas is one of the most versatile musicians of his generation. Since his solo debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2009, he has been actively performing and collaborating with many artists. He holds both the Bachelor's and Master's in Music degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Nina Svetlanova. His teachers in Mexico are Carmen Carrasco, Alberto Cruzprieto, and María Teresa Frenk. He also received formal conducting training under the guidance of Maestro David Jackson.
